This month we’re coming back with our Success Story on INTERCONNECT project. Interconnect supports new and more efficient public transport services both in and between the coastal regions of the South Baltic area – to give the residents and tourists broader and more sustainable options for realising their mobility needs.
In Newsletter No. 1, we wrote about film screenings as a part of the activities within the FilmNet project – about “Baltic Identity Film Tour”. Such shows and discussions have already taken place in all partner countries, and the Baltic Sea Culture Center from Gdańsk has prepared an Activity Report. What were the results?
In 2018 Euroregion Baltic started the implementation of the South Baltic UMBRELLA project which aims at developing know-how capacities for small local and regional organisations in the South Baltic Programme area to initiate their active participation in the cross-border cooperation in their daily activities.
Another Umbrella’s micro activity was organized in Elblag on 12th and 13th February. The topic this time was “water and water management” and saw the participation of a group of different institutions and experts in the field of water management from around the South Baltic Sea.

Guldborgsund Municpality, together with UMBRELLA Interreg South Baltic project partners are pleased to inviting you to attend the 2-day cross-border Conference with EUSBSR Tourism PA panel in Sakskøbing (DENMARK) on 25th – 26TH February 2020 (from lunch-to-lunch).
On 11th December we have participated in the Workshop on future Pomeranian initiatives in the Interreg South Baltic 2020+ Programme organized by the Pomorskie Region contact point and Joint Secretariat.
In the Umbrella project framework, we organized this month another seminars and training on project management. The meetings on 28th Nov in Gdansk, 5th Dec in Kalmar, Sweden and on 10th Dec in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
Another #UMBRELLA micro activity, this time we had youth representatives from NGOs and municipalities from Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Kaliningrad Region working together on their youth exchange project application.
